Jalan Jalan Penang - 5 New Things You Need to Do in Penang

Salam #KitaJagaKita !

Im sorry to post about traveling during this pandemic yet my friend quoted "Saved Now, Travel Later". so here im sharing my Penang trip with the geng #HoHo semoga dapat lah sedikit maklumat tentang tempat baru yang menarik di Pulau Pinang ketika ini. Biarpun kondisi covid-19 di negara kita seakan "on & off" namun, marilah kita membantu merancakkan ekonomi negara apabila tiba waktu yang sesuai nanti. Stay Safe peeps :)

Ayuh kita mulakan cerita Jalan Jalan Penang kita. this trip was actually back on 4th September 2020 when me and my #HoHo gang try to continue our annual trip tetapi disebabkan kita tak dapat travel oversea, maka kami pun bersetuju untuk ke salah satu negeri yang sangat interesting and i will never get tired with which is Penang!

Experiencing Forest Bathing at THE HABITAT PENANG HILL

Living in a hectic life in Kuala Lumpur is not an easy deal. the level of stress is increasing day by day. Haha tak sempat nak bertenang ye, personal matters lah, kerja ofis lah, then need to face "traffic jam" everyday pulak. so, when one of my friend suggest me go experience the Forest Bathing at The Habitat Penang Hill, i immediately thrilled to give it a try!

Forest Bathing (or Shinrin-yoku) is actually a well-known Japanese practice where basically, it is a state of you being in nature. lay down under the canopy of trees while listening to the sounds of forest (chirp chrip bunyi cengkerik tu kan! haha) is so tenang and soothing!

We were guided by Mr Low who is so passionate about whats his doing. it was so motivating and fun following his guidance and listening to his tale which "tanpa disedari" took almost 3 hours woo! there are several aspects in this 1 course but my favourite part is when we need to lay down on the mat, facing up the clear sky and learn the right breathing technique.

Ticket fare : RM55 (Normal entrance) / RM138 (Forest bathing package)
Official web : https://thehabitat.my/

My Verdict

It was definitely a new experience for me! i do love nature but im more on adventure such as hiking and etc. so, I did underestimate this "guided walk" at the beginning and yup, quite clueless too! haha thanks to the guide, Mr Low who made things enjoyable and interesting. no pressure, just walk and immerse yourself in the beautiful tropical of Penang Hill. Oh yar, forest sounds are my fav!

Capturing #OOTD shot at the ENTOPIA

Again, underestimating this not-so-new attraction of Penang, Entopia was such a mistake! This large scale of open concept garden that houses almost 15,000 butterflies and over 50 species flying freely all over the place is definitely so magical!

Entopia is definitely more than just a butterfly farm. The landscape is well-planned, OMG even the man-made waterfalls are so amazing! undeniably, the amazing butterflies are scattered everywhere and the best part was they don't fly away when you're getting nearer. haha so, you can have an up-close selfie with them as much as you want LOL just please be extra careful, do not touch them ya :')

Ticket fare : RM49 (MYkad adult) / RM29 (Child & Senior Citizen)
Official web : https://www.entopia.com/

My Verdict

Not just a typical attraction for a family weekend getaway or "lawatan sambil belajar" kinda place but ENTOPIA is definitely for all! me and my buddies did enjoy ourselves so much till we didn't even realize that we've spent more than 3 hours there! OMG seriously as we were among the last group when the gate close at 5pm haha and yup, thumbs up to all the staff, they are so friendly and so warm. i love ENTOPIA haha thanks for the great memories guys!!

Witnessing The Best Sunset at THE TOP (Rainbow Skywalk Bridge)

The idea of extending another 3 storeys on top of the KOMTAR tower in 2015 is so brilliant. franksly, the old building kinda neglected against the mushrooming of new attractions around the island. i love watching the construction progress presented in a special dark room up there, super impressive!

Ticket fare (Rainbow Skywalk) : RM68 (Normal entrance) / RM48 (Senior Citizen/Kids)

Romantic Dinner at the Top View Restaurant & Lounge

Di sini saya nak kenalkan lagi satu 'Dine-in experience' yang wajib korang cuba iaitu DINNING ON THE SKY! Masih berada di atas menara tertinggi di Pulau Pinang iaitu The Top, restauran yang dikelilingi glass window ini, bukan sahaja menyajikan permandangan 'kayangan' yang indah malahan menyajikan pelbagai jenis hidangan. waktu kami sampai adalah waktu dinner haha jadi kami bersepakat untuk menikmati makan malam secara have-have gituh.

From Left | Amir Asyraf | Zarnizar | Khai Artzfar | Hasif Hamsyari | Syafiqah Hashim Hi geng #HoHo MISSING you guys always :')

Ops jangan salah sangka dengan harga makanan di restauran ini kerana kami juga terkejut, harganya sangat affordable dan yang penting masakannya juga enak. ada juga hidangan buffet ya. OK korang boleh lamari official web untuk maklumat lanjut.

FOOD Hunting Like Never Ending!
