Korea Trip Day 1 BUSAN : Taejongdae Park and Gwangalli Beach

Anyeong Haseyo!

Naega Suzai-imnida hehe OMO finally the very first entry of my Korea Trip 14 days in total is here! chukeyo Suzai!! HAHA yup you read it, we spent 14 days for overall trip and the itinerary is Busan (2D1N) then Jeju Island (5D4N) and Seoul (6D5N). so, we check-in in Gimhae Busan International Airport around 8am local time. the journey took about 7 hours from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

We are not allowed to check-in into our accommodation yet as it was too early. hence, we temporarily left our bulky luggage at the Busan Station (its like a central station for Busan subway) it cost us 1,500KW per locker. hence, we just freely walked out from the station to find the bus station which of course located outside of the building.

first selfie in Korea! haha

TAEJONGDAE PARK

We put this place as the first one to visit because it is quite far from the city. again, you can find the bus station outside of the Busan Subway Station and take BUS NO. 101. we're actually don't have any idea on where to stop because all the stations names are written in Hangul! LOL so, we kept on asking the local passengers and ended up HAHAHAHA it is the LAST STATION !! lawak giler penat je dok menggelabah menggelupur HAHA so sila seat back and relax as the journey took about 1 hour and 30 minutes from the Busan station to here.

Nah, please be ready to walk and climb and climb once you stepped out from the bus! even that ticket counter located 5 minutes walking distance from the entrance. hey its a FREE admission but that fees information is for the train ride. we refused to take the train because we're trying to save lol hence, we decided to just climb the trail for about 3km and approximately 40 minutes to reach this lighthouse point. noted that the train tour will take you to the Taejongsa Temple which located higher than this point and yeah, we can't take it anymore, so we exclude that one! hahaha

an excited girl with an unexplained dehydrated look HAHA penat weih nak sampai sini!
my fav spot!

What a huge accomplishment i felt when looking at the view. it is a simple attraction but i just love looking at the deep and wide ocean. what you could expect in here are endless sea, that lighthouse as one of the landmark, attractive cliff and rocks and super rough wind! seriously, the wind was no joking!! i did suddenly remember my trip to the Cliffs of Moher, Ireland click me where the nature of the cliffs and the weather are very much familiar. it was already like 5pm, so we quickly moved back to the Busan Station by riding the same BUS NO. 101 where you can easily find at the main entrance.

How To Go? we took BUS NO. 101 from Busan Station

Duration? 3 to 4 hours (and need to consider the 1 hour and 1/2 journey to reach and vice versa)

GWANGALLI BEACH

Busan is well known with nice beaches and one of it is this Gwangalli Beach. this beach is famous with its fine sand, fireworks festival, music and culture festival and obviously, that stunning bridge which also known as Diamond Bridge crossing the 1.4 km beach. yup, it lighten up and changing its colour and hey, i do really fascinated over the night look in here. colourful lighting are everywhere, cantik and pantai dia sangat terjaga ok siap ada tiang-tiang cendawan ni sepanjang pantai untuk orang lepak-lepak kat bawah tu lah. perghh so impressive!

see at the back, they love to play fireworks kat sini
keje dorang ni selfie je sepanjang masa! HAHA tak tau sapa yang tourist LOL
seductive row of coffee shop yg menggoda jiwa coffee addicts seperti kami berdua! hah
the only SEAFOOD restaurant that we found!

Totally a different views facing up each other, adjacent are alleys with restaurants (sorry could't find any Halal one), nightclubs and coffee shops! i should say that this is a place for those night-goers and a gathering place for youngster. it was actually raining heavily that night! huhu thus, after done with few shots at the beach, we chose to hangout at one of the Korean famous coffee shop, Angel-In-Us Coffee and sat at the open area overlooking the beach. what a life, what a beautiful life... Alhamdulillah :')

Based on one of a blog review, there will be a light show lighting up the bridge at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm while playing the latest Kpop songs but hey, i don't remember we're seeing one? because we're staying there like from 8pm to 1030pm (as to chase the last train by 1100pm) back to our home. anyhow, you can reach here by stopping at the Gwangan Station, then need to walk to the end like about 10 minutes. yup it was just the first night in Korea but i felt like walking for 3 days already! LOL so, keep fit and good luck people HAHA

How To Go? Gwangan Metro Station

Duration? 2 hours and depends (chillax at any cafe of choice is highly recommended!)
