Guys make yourself to THE LINC Kuala Lumpur for a FREE DIY workshop, join in the fun at DIY workshops that will show you how to make your own silk-screen pouches, mask chains, and button the badges. location is at the exhibition area on the 2nd floor. you can take photos at the Merdeka-themed photo wall with accompanying props, which later can be uploaded to all your social media!

The focal point of the exhibition is a display featuring 16 everyday Malaysians alongside 65 iconic Malaysians who have made the country proud with their outstanding achievements. Among them are Malaysia’s Father of Independence Tunku Abdul Rahman, renowned actress Michelle Yeoh, squash ace Nicol Ann David, and Malaysia’s favourite evergreen singer, Dato David Arumugam.

Staying true to its 100% digital DNA, Yoodo has also taken the campaign online with a #BuildAMalaysian Instagram initiative, where users can build a version of themselves with a special template and Instagram stickers. To participate, users will need to screenshot the template from Yoodo’s Instagram page (@yoodomy) and build a character that best represents them with the help of numerous stickers under the hashtag #lokame. The best six entries from the social media initiative will be featured on NuSentral’s giant billboard, while other entries stand the chance to take home exclusive ‘Do It The Malaysian Way’ merchandises in partnership with Loka Made.

Build A Malaysian campaign aims to celebrate the melting pot of unique characters that call our country home, while promoting harmony and national unity. Perfectly synchronising to our independence day on this coming 31st August 2022, this "Build A Malaysian" (BAM) event is happening from 17th August to 18th September, everyone is invited and its a FREE admission for sure!
